DTDS follows a simple trip cost and refund policy. The dynamic fundamentals work around a ratio between the demand and supply on any given trip at any given point in time.
On any DTDS Trip on any given day, the first few seats are sold at low fares and then the fares move to the next price point. The basic principle that governs this is the fact that the earlier one books, the lower the Trip Cost. These trip bookings are available on first come first serve basis and can be purchased at any point of purchase.
On DTDS Trip, travellers can cancel/ reschedule their tickets up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of trip. If the guest has cancelled the trip within 48 hours of the scheduled commencement of trip, he/she will not be entitled to any refund
In case the guest cancels a trip prior to 48 hours of the scheduled commencement of trip, a sum of Rs. 3500/- per guest/ per trip along with the transaction fee/Service Fee/Service Tax (paid during the booking of the ticket) will be deducted from the trip cost and the balance will be refunded (as paid) back to the guest’s account through Net Banking within 15 working days.
In case of Booking under Book Now Pay Later Scheme—No Refund will be made.
In case of Rescheduling trip prior to 48 hours of the scheduled commencement of trip, a sum of Rs.2500 plus difference in trip cost will be payable by the guest
